Γενικά Στοιχεία για το 3^ο Γυμνάσιο Λιβαδειάς
Το σχολείο είναι Γενικό Ημερήσιο Γυμνάσιο, ιδρύθηκε στα 1982 και άρχισε να λειτουργεί από το σχολικό έτος 1982-1983. Το 1991 μεταφέρθηκε στο κτίριο της οδού Αριστοφάνους, στο βορειοδυτικό τμήμα της πόλης της Λιβαδειάς, όπου στεγάζεται και σήμερα.
Αποτελείται από τρεις τάξεις την Α’ , Β’  και Γ’ Γυμνασίου.
Διαθέτει Διευθυντή, τον κ. Λυμπεράτο Μιχαήλ και υποδιευθύντρια την κα Δρακουλάκη Κωνσταντίνα.
Έχει 32 εν ενεργεία καθηγητές, εκ των οποίων 21 με οργανική θέση στο σχολείο.
Έχει 231 μαθητές (122 αγόρια και 109 κορίτσια) και 10 τμήματα.
Διαθέτει Τμήματα Ειδικής Ενισχυτικής Προσέγγισης για μαθητές με Ειδικές Ανάγκες.
Το σχολείο διαθέτει και Τμήμα Ένταξης Προσφύγων με 7 μαθητές

Υποδομές
Το σχολείο διαθέτει 12 αίθουσες διδασκαλίας, με Διαδραστικούς Πίνακες. υπολογιστές και προτζέκτορες ή επιτοίχιες τηλεοράσεις με σύνδεση στο internet.  
Επίσης διαθέτει εξοπλισμένα:
Ένα εργαστήριο Φυσικής, ένα εργαστήριο Χημείας, ένα εργαστήριο Τεχνολογικών Εφαρμογών, ένα εργαστήριο Πληροφορικής, μια αίθουσα Μουσικής με μουσικά όργανα και πιάνο, μια αίθουσα Εικαστικών και Τεχνών, μια αίθουσα Αθλητικών Δραστηριοτήτων, μια αίθουσα Ιστορίας. Επίσης, διαθέτει μια Βιβλιοθήκη- Αναγνωστήριο με περίπου 2000 βιβλία, μια Αίθουσα Εκθέσεων και μια Αίθουσα Θεάτρου με 200 θέσεις.

Στα πλαίσια της συμμετοχής του σχολείου στα προγράμματα ERASMUS πραγματοποιήθηκαν δύο εκπαιδευτικά ταξίδια  στη Βουλγαρία (26-11-2018) και την Λιθουανία (2-4-19) στο πρώτο και με τη συμμετοχή 2 μαθητών και Σλοβενία το τελευταίο.

English version for our friends abroad 
The school is a General Day High School, founded in 1982 and started operating from the school year 1982-1983. In 1991 it was transfered to the building in Aristophanous Street, in the northwestern part of the city of Livadia, where it is still housed today.
It consists of three classes, A ‘, B and C. It has a Director, Mr. Lymperatos Michael and a deputy director, Mrs. Drakoulaki Konstantina. It also has 32 active teachers, 21 of whom have an organic position in the school. It has 231 students (122 boys and 109 girls) and 10 classes. It has Departments of Special Reinforcement Approach for students with Special Needs.

The school has also a Refugee Integration Department with 7 students

Infrastructure
The school is made up of 12 classrooms, with Interactive Whiteboards. computers and projectors or wall-mounted TVs with internet connection.
It also possesses well-equipped spaces:
A Physics Laboratory, a Chemistry Laboratory, a Technological Applications Laboratory, a Computer Laboratory, a Music Hall with musical instruments and a piano, a Fine and Arts Hall, an outdoor Recreation Ground, a Web Hall. It also has a Library-Reading Room with about 2000 books, an Exhibition Hall and a Theater Auditorium with 250 seats. 

Educational programs are being developed at the school and Activity Sections have been organized

Theatrical Education:
The school performed the play: Thanasis Papathanasiou and Michalis Reppa’s “Dads with Rum”
Participate: 12 students and two teachers
Rehearsals were held every Sunday morning

Art Education–Department of Traditional Dances:
The Dance Group participates in nationwide events and competitions and offers performances in old people`s homes, nursing homes and hospitals in our city
Participate: 31 students and two teachers.
It was held every Sunday afternoon in the school’s theater hall

Journalism Team-school newspaper edition:
The group organizes lectures on journalism, and the press, conducts journalistic investigations and issues the school’s school newspaper.
There are 2 teachers and 31 students and takes place on Saturdays, time in between classes and online

Entrepreneurship Team- “Alternative Traditional Tourism”
This group is developing business and economy plans – organizing advertising projects – promoting the site from a tourist standpoint and producing in-school workshops traditional products, soaps, ointments and traditional jewelry
Participate: A teacher with 20 students
The group’s activities take place every Saturday afternoon

Art Education: “School Life and Choral Music”
There are 30 students of the choir and 10 students who play musical instruments (piano, cello, flute, guitars, drums)
The group consists of one teacher and 45 students.
Rehearsals are held at school every Tuesday and Wednesday at the end of the school program.

Environmental Education: “The River of Erkina, Source of Life for the City”
The team looks at the importance the local river has tn city life, how it was formed, what its geological features are, what its ecosystem is, what role it plays in the fields of economy and tourismin the city.
Participate: With two teachers and 35 students
It takes place every Sunday morning and Monday at school

ERASMUS PROGRAMS
As part of the school’s participation in the ERASMUS programs,  educational trips took place in Bulgaria (26-11-2018 to 30-11-2018) and Lithuania (1-4-19 to 5-4-19), in Cyprus in September 2019 (online because limitations for covid 19), in Slovenia (6-11-19 to 9-11-19), in Estonia (10-10-21 to 14-10-21) and in Levadia (5-12-21 to 10-12-21).

ΙΣΤΟΡΙΚΟ ΙΔΡΥΣΗΣ  ΤΟΥ  3^ου  ΓΥΜΝΑΣΙΟΥ  ΛΙΒΑΔΕΙΑΣ

Το 3^ο Γυμνάσιο Λιβαδειάς ιδρύθηκε με βάση το ΦΕΚ 106 τ.Α-82 και το ΠΔ/τ. 581/31-8-82  και άρχισε να λειτουργεί από το σχολικό έτος 1982-1983.

Στις 5 Αυγούστου 1982 και ώρα 10:30 παρουσιάστηκε στο Γραφείο της τότε Γενικής Επιθεώρησης Μέσης Εκπαίδευσης και ανέλαβε υπηρεσία ως  Γυμνασιάρχης  ο κος Χαράλαμπος Ταμπακόπουλος του Δημητρίου (σύμφωνα με ανακοίνωση του ΥΠΕΠΘ, που δημοσιεύτηκε στον ημερήσιο Αθηναϊκό τύπο της 27-07-1981).

Το 3^ο Γυμνάσιο συστεγάστηκε στο κτίριο του 1^ου Γυμνασίου και λειτούργησε σε πρωινή και απογευματινή βάρδια εναλλάξ με το 1^ο Γυμνάσιο Λιβαδειάς.

Μεταφέρθηκε οριστικά σε ανεξάρτητο νεόδμητο κτίριο της οδού Αριστοφάνους το Σεπτέμβριο του έτους 1991.
